The Foundation and Management chapters are the most commonly used from the Insights Discovery profile options. What about the other chapters that are available? What’s in them, what is their value and how can they be used? Perhaps you haven’t had a chance to explore these chapters but you’re interested to know more. Or perhaps you’ve invested in them but you don’t feel like you’ve made enough of the content. In this interactive, online discussion we share our thoughts and ideas with fellow practitioners to consider if these chapters are right for us and, if so, how we might use them.
Preparation
• Review the sample profile (https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/getting-started/ida-resources/m/sample-profile) or your own Insights Discovery profile, focussing on the Effective Selling, Personal Achievement and Interview chapters
• Look through section 4 of your IDA practitioner guide 3, focussing on the Effective Selling, Personal Achievement and Interview chapters. If you can’t find your hard copy, an electronic copy can be found here https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/getting-started/ida-resources/m/practitioner-guides/31
Team development, communication and performance is a constant within most organisations but the world around us is anything but constant. As a practitioner, what could you bring to your teams that would enable them to thrive throughout any challenges and put self-awareness at their centre? You’ve likely discovered (or used) some team approaches from Insights in the past so in this online, interactive discussion we will take time to learn from each other as well as introducing you to new ideas or approaches that might help your teams step to the next level.
Preparation
- Take some time to explore Connections and see if you can come across anything that you’d like to explore as part of team application
- Consider what your organisation currently does with team development and where self-awareness might contribute to that approach
- Listen to the recording(s) of Introduction to ‘Discovering Team Effectiveness’ (https://insights.wistia.com/medias/ebb1gmpb5k) for face-to-face application and/or ‘Working in a Virtual Team’ (https://connections.insights.com/materials/workshop-materials/discoveringteameffectiveness/working-in-a-virtual-team/m/recordings/3110) for virtual delivery.
The eight types sit within the Insights Discovery wheel but how should we make best use of them? How do we explore them without causing confusion? How can we leverage them to create greater self awareness, encourage personal development and increase personal effectiveness? In this online, interactive discussion we will explore the possibilities of the eight types and how to bring them to life.
Preparation
- Review the Eight Type content on Connections (https://connections.insights.com/learning-materials/8-types/) and come prepared with your questions, thoughts and ideas
- Listen to the recorded session (https://insights.wistia.com/medias/1ot51lmb2m)
