With the progressive increase in different working environments and remotely dispersed colleagues, we as practitioners are often asked to support teams in improving their communication within this working environment. In this online, interactive discussion we can share thoughts and ideas with our fellow practitioners as to how self-awareness and the awareness of others can positively impact effective communication.
Preparation
-
Review your own Insights Discovery profile and consider how you could apply this to the development of effective team communication – which sections might be particularly useful?
-
Consider the current situation within your own clients/organisations/teams and what steps are currently being taken to improve communication – where could the addition of self-awareness help to create greater impact?
The most powerful application of Insights Discovery is often when it’s partnered with a key business objective. However, as a practitioner it can be challenging to start that conversation with a key stakeholder in a way that demonstrates the impact of self-awareness and preferences within the business context. In this online, interactive discussion we can share thoughts and ideas with our fellow practitioners as to how to take time to establish the current business landscape and challenges before identifying a range of solutions and defining the best approach.
Preparation
-

Often we find ourselves delivering a high volume of Introduction to Insights Discovery workshops without ever getting the chance to move beyond this introduction and into the real application and integration discussions. If you’d like to take your Insights practice beyond the workshop, or your learners are asking, “What’s next?”, then this online, interactive discussion is for you. Come along and we will explore what else is available, how other practitioners are approaching their learning solutions and how you can focus on business needs to deliver lasting, effective solutions.
Preparation
• Take a moment to explore Connections - you might discover new ideas or resources you haven’t seen before.
• Consider your current business needs and bring them along to contribute to the conversation.
