During the Insights Discovery accreditation (or the Begin live learning workshops) we learned how the graphs and wheel are created and how to introduce and position them. However, some of your learners (or you!) might be asking: so what? In this online, interactive discussion we will explore how to leverage the information that’s presented in the wheels and graphs page to create greater self-awareness and effectiveness.
Preparation
• Review Insights Discovery Accreditation Practitioner Guide 1 - Theory (p. 21-34), PG2 (38-44) & PG3 (12-26 & 71-72): https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/getting-started/ida-resources/m/practitioner-guides/29
• Review the E-Learning module “Refreshing the basics” https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/the-basics/
• If it’s helpful, there are recorded refreshers of the model constructs available, or you can attend the Begin live learning workshops to refresh your knowledge:

The Insights Discovery Personal profile has a wealth of powerful information contained within its pages. In this workshop we will look at the sections within the foundation and management chapters and look at how we can help our learners to unlock and access the amazing value and rich information to support their personal development.
How do you make the most of this investment? How can the content of these chapters be used most effectively? These are the topics we’ll explore in this interactive, online discussion with your fellow practitioners.
Preparation
• Review the sample profile (https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/getting-started/ida-resources/m/sample-profile) or your own Insights Discovery profile, focussing on the Foundation and Management chapter.
• Look through section 4 of your IDA practitioner guide 3, focussing on the Foundation and Management chapters. If you can’t find your hard copy, an electronic copy can be found here https://connections.insights.com/materials/learning-materials/getting-started/ida-resources/m/practitioner-guides/31
The Foundation and Management chapters are the most commonly used from the Insights Discovery profile options. What about the other chapters that are available? What’s in them, what is their value and how can they be used? Perhaps you haven’t had a chance to explore these chapters but you’re interested to know more. Or perhaps you’ve invested in them but you don’t feel like you’ve made enough of the content. In this interactive, online discussion we share our thoughts and ideas with fellow practitioners to consider if these chapters are right for us and, if so, how we might use them.
