Topic Descriptions:

21st May 2024

This workshop will help you:

  • Understand how to apply the Eight Field Method developed by Kessels & Smit for a semi-structured intake interview with a client
  • Learn how to use this information to tailor learning and change processes that support the strategic needs of your client. By taking the conversation to a strategic level, you co-creatively develop a longer trajectory than with the initial, basic questions.
  • Know how to structure the intake information into a very convincing proposal. Your client will feel you truly understand their reality and they will see and feel the added value of your proposal for their organisation.
During the workshop you will see how the Eight Fields Method is applied with the help of a demo.  This will include the application of impact-based learning, transfer from the learning place to the workplace, the distinction between the responsibilities of the contractor and those of the client, and the architecture of a monitoring system for your proposed intervention. Subsequently, you will initiate your own Eight Fields Needs Assessment with a real case study from one of your clients.

12th June 2024

Many organisations want to work agilely. After all, to respond quickly to change, you need to be agile. But it is often forgotten that this requires a change in behaviour. A change in teams, which need to work together differently, and a change in management, which will have to let go more. In this workshop we will explore why agile working is mainly a matter of mindset and behaviour, and how Insights Discovery can help realise the behavioural change needed to make this a success.

Target group

  • Practitioners working as agile coaches.

What will we do?

  • In this workshop, you will learn how to integrate Insights Discovery into your work as an agile coach on both a daily basis during stand-ups and retrospectives, and in separate sessions around themes such as feedback, transparency and self-management.
  • We will explore how to combine Insights Discovery with other team effectiveness models to help teams take the next step, and will also examine how you make a difference by leading by example.

What will you take home?

  • Insight into how to use Insights Discovery to help teams function more effectively by implementing agile working methods.
Share with us your learning questions, challenges, and experiences as an agile coach. Bring a real-life case study to practice with during the workshop.  This will allow you to apply the insights gained and further enhance your skills in guiding teams towards successful agile implementation.
